Updating apps itunes
Apple has made a significant change to the latest version of i Tunes for Mac OS and Windows by removing the App Store. First, it means more traffic for the completely redesigned App Store, which debuts later this month with the launch of i OS 11.
Second, it returns i Tunes to its original function as an entertainment app.
Re-downloading Apps will need to be done on your device itself.
Windows 7 or later: Open C:\Users\username\My Music\i Tunes\i Tunes Media So if you have an app or other content in your i Tunes media library that is not available for re-downloading, you can use your computer to manually transfer these files onto your i OS device.
Once you find the app file, drag and drop it on your device in the i Tunes sidebar.
i Tunes broke new ground when it was released in 2001, but over the years it became widely derided as an increasingly bloated, awful, sucky, bad and embarrassing piece of software that needed to be “nuked from orbit.” The update hopefully will make i Tunes sleeker and more user-friendly.
Not only will the App Store tab be gone, but i Tunes U content will appear in the Podcasts section, while Internet Radio will be placed in the music library sidebar.
